The check-out could be better organized with staff looking to help or give guidance. Waited 5 minutes to pay, while two at the cash had their backs to people in the store.
came here to trade in some shin pads and potentially get new hockey pants, had great service from Tyse (I think that’s his name from what I thought I saw on his name tag). ended up only needing new shin pads because the length of my pants were short due to my small shin pads. he had good advice, very friendly, and I got new shin pads for about half off with the trade in. feel super good about what I left with. thank you!
I visited this Kitchener location yesterday looking for some fitness equipment. Staff were amazing, professional, polite and knowledgeable. I decided to buy 2 dumbbells and new ‘Elevated Chin Up Station’. I am a woman, senior and this will be very difficult for me to put this together . I would love to say thank you to staff , Roman, Sam and Kingsly who did this for me . They put this Chin Up Station for me with smiles on their faces. I took picture of them with my Chin Up Station but I am not sure if I can figure out how to insert this to my review. Staff are always super helpful if you have someone new to a sport...they'll walk you thru everything you need and highlight used amd new equipment equally...can't say enough good things about this store
Went there to look for some gear for my daughter and when we went in the two gentlemen behind the counter asked us if we needed him looking for anything he said yes. We are looking for some gear, they proceeded to turn and keep talking to each other and looking at their phones we spent a little time looking around and then decided to go across to sports check across the road and by the needed items. Disappointed because usually we have good experience with this place in the past over the years

I visited the Kitchener location Play It Again Sports this morning. Staff were available and helpful to me and other customers around the store getting the correct sizes for children. Adam was incredibly patient and knowledgeable to get my children the correct used hockey helmets. He was able to quickly identify what size we needed and adjust to get the perfect fit. In addition to the incredible staff, there is a wide range in selection of sizes for equipment in the store, good prices for their inventory, and speedy service to get our skates sharpened. We will be coming again as our children need larger sizes and recommending the store to our friends based on the great experience.
