I want to give a big shout-out to Nicholas at SportChek — he helped me find the perfect pair of walking shoes after I’d been having foot pain with my old pair. From the moment I walked in, his expertise and care really stood out. Nicholas took time to listen to my concerns about comfort and pain. He asked the right questions, showed several options, explained the differences clearly, and helped me pick a pair that felt just right. What impressed me even more was that while he was helping me, I overheard him assisting an older customer with the same patience and respect. That showed me he truly cares about every customer, no matter who they are. He was friendly, patient, and answered all of my questions — even ones I didn’t know I had at first. Thanks to him, I left the store feeling confident and comfortable. I’ve shopped here several times, but unfortunately my recent attempts to return or exchange shoes have been disappointing. On three separate visits, the customer service I received felt rushed and unfriendly—one staff member even raised his voice, which made the interaction uncomfortable. I really hope the team can receive some additional training on handling returns and customer concerns with more patience and kindness. I’d love to keep supporting the store if the service improves. I was here at sport-check a week ago and my experience was really wonderful. Gouri was really respectful and she has great knowledge about the articles. She helped me find the right thing. I will definitely come again.
Ordered online. Went to pick up the order (emailed when they order was ready)and was told to wait by pick up area by the girl at the cash. The item was Not in the pickup lockers. Waited and waited but Completly ignored for a very long time. Eventually helped but it took way too long.(Update) And once we got home (45min away) the boots we got were both the same side boot (eg both rights) could not check while at the store because it in a sealed bag.

The person working at the front desk this morning needs to not be in a position of customer support. I placed an online order and was one day late to pick it up. All she could tell me was that I would have to wait for the 7-day RMA process. She refused to find any other way to help me. Fortunately on my way out. I passed by one of her co-workers who did know something about customer service. She kindly helped me find the product I had ordered on the shelf. I was able to get what I wanted and leave satisfied (thank you, Melissa ??⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐) My experience with that first woman left me feeling incredibly frustrated at how useless and defiantly unhelpful (quoting policy to me) she was. Hopefully management can have some discussions with her (I didn't get her name) about what customer service actually means.
Great selection. The store is in a nice location. I have done an exchange from here and it was too easy, unlike other stores. The staffs are really helpful to find out the right item that we are looking for. I had visited this store many times and I never had any bad experience.
