After a collision, I had chosen to have my body repairs at Rowa based on the high Google reviews however, my experience has not been stellar and ultimately, wish I had went elsewhere. I was rear-ended mid-February and had approx $10K of damage to the bumper, side area. After 5 weeks of repairs, my vehicle was returned. Thankfully the paint matched which was a worry of mine but the paint has clear speckling from painting over dust/dirt particles (not a surprise as my car was returned absolutely filthy with pine needs and cones all over my windshield). In the end not worth my being out of a vehicle for another few weeks as my car is the sole vehicle for my young family. After leaving with my vehicle, I noticed that the rear wiper fluid spout was not working and required me to go back to the shop to have it reconnected. In addition to the wiper spout not working I noticed my BCW (blind spot sensors) were not operational. This meant I needed to go back and wait over an hour and a half for them to reinspect their work and to send me on my way with "you will need to talk to insurance and dealership". I found out after the fact that the correct chain of events was to have the sensor work subcontracted out to the dealership (this was in the estimate that was approved by insurance). Fast forward to an additional 2.5 months and my dealership has confirmed that my aftermarket bumper is what is causing the issue with the sensors to not work. I wish I had read a review like this one so that I would have chosen elsewhere and saved myself many hours of repair visits both with Rowa but also my dealership.
***Edit: The owner called and said that it is their standard to clean up the car before returning to their customers and that this one unfortunately got missed. They took the car back in and did a thorough interior clean. Looks great inside. Even cleaned off the outside of the car. We brought the car in for some rust repair and cosmetic bumper damage. They did a great job on those repairs; front bumper looks good and I see no more rust. Unfortunately, upon opening the car doors, the condition of the interior was pretty bad. I definitely expected dust and to have to wipe down and vacuum surfaces myself, no problem. But I was shocked that the business considered this level of dirt an acceptable condition to return to their paying customer. There was also garbage left in there from the repair. It seems as though there was little to no effort made to protect the interior during the work, such as a tarp. Again, the exterior work was good, but the dirt in the interior was unfortunately disappointing and will require a lot of cleaning up on my part or even the expense of paying for interior detailing, as the dust/dirt is deep in the fabrics.
Absolutely disgusted at the way I was talked to and treated by the owner of this shop after taking my car in for repair. During the repair process the car was broken and when I called back to let him know he began to swear and curse at me and my girlfriend before blocking our numbers and saying he's not paying for it "because its our problem" and "to take him to court", after verbally admitting that it was his shop who broke the emblem. Upon arriving at his shop in person we were greeted with more attitude, and two aggressive german shepherds ran out and attacked our service dog. He continued to yell at us even after his employee had agreed that there was no possible way for an emblem to be cracked from the inside with out it happening during the repair process, before storming off back into his shop and telling us to get off his property while taking pictures of our license plate. While I originally found this shop from google reviews, I regret doing so as it is very clearly not a 5 star auto body, with the attitude and disrespect demonstrated by the shop owner I wouldn't put it past saying its likely most of the reviews here are illegitimate. Stay far far away from this place unless you're looking for mediocre work accompanied with vicious verbal abuse from the owner.
I could not be any happier and I owe the guy who referred me here big time. I had massive gouges in my rear quarter panel and a pin hole in the door frame. Other shops quoted way higher and would take longer both to get the car in and to get it back. My paint is 'velocity red' it has specks of different shades of red and I thought it was impossible to match, I thought maybe they would get it close. I picked my car up today, on time, for the price I was quoted. The only real surprise was how awesome my car looks! The paint match was absolutely perfect and the work is impeccable. Value, quality and service this is a one stop shop.
I think all reviews given are fake...I had very bad experience. The price quoted is very high and he doesn't seem to take any work too. Very bad attitude!! Looks like demanding too..his words exactly "this is my price..that's it"..I checked at other locations and the price quoted was half of it..
Came here because of the Google reviews and everything stated is true, place looks sketchy and doesn't seem like a body shop but look past that and actually talk to the owner, he's a great man and really helped me with my car, and within a week I got it back and I was stunned on how great they did. Paint match was spot on and any questions I had he had an answer for and was more than happy to help. Highly recommend Rowa for any body damage that needs to be fixed.
