Worst experience ever! Not with the entire office but with Jim Pirrie in particular. Extremely unprofessional and sneaky. My husband and I viewed a home late last night to which we were told was not taking offers until Monday October 23 but would consider looking at bully offers. Our agent spoke with him after the viewing expressing our interest and advising him several times to let her know if any bully offers were presented as this is common practice to notify anyone viewing the home of bully offers to give everyone a fair chance at purchasing the home. Before 9 am this morning we were notified by our agent that the house was sold and they had accepted an offer. Jim did not contact our agent to let her know there was a bully offer made. He kept the offer to himself more than likely to get full commission. So unprofessional not only to us but to the home sellers as well who could have had multiple offers therefore increasing their sale price. The house was also on the market two days before the listing went public again so unprofessional. Extremely disappointed and will be telling everyone about Jim Pirrie and his unprofessionalism.
Although we're new to Canada and had purchased houses in our home country before, we never did this here and Sylvia Brown walked us through it, and we our offer was accepted even it was not the highest one. We're so pleased to have her as our agent and we recommend her to anyone in the region!!
