Nara sushi is pretty good but just for food, there is one server in particular who is quite nice and the other one is a little rude and abrupt. I prefer to avoid her entirely. The sushi is really good and stuff from the kitchen too. Everything taste pretty fresh but this place could really benefit from a redo. Inside is like walking into a hole. Get some light in there, it's much too dark, carpets are gross and its really warm inside on some days which makes it uncomfortable to sit, relax and really enjoy your meal. I'd get take out but dining in isn't the greatest, it's too dark inside.
sushi and food is pretty good, but something they need to work on is being polite to the customers. the 2 girl waitresses were very polite and sweet, but there was an older woman who seemed to hate being there and you could tell just by her stance alone. she was starring at us while we were eating, and just kinda threw the plates on the table without saying a single word or having any facial expression. heard her talking in her language with co workers, little did she know I spoke her tongue and heard her talking about me while she was starring directly at me thinking I didn't have a clue of what she just said. despite everything I tried saying thank you to her and she would sometimes mumble something or just walk away saying absolutely nothing. would give 4 stars, but having a rude person while trying to enjoy a night out ruins everything. please work on your attitude if you want good reviews. food is great, but you cant have one without the other. need both good food and good service if you want good reviews and repeated customers. but by the seems of it, with this customer service, i hope something happens so the workers can snap out of it and have some common human decency. its ineffably horrible of some of the experiences people had here.
Really bad service! Extremely disappointed. Waitress were rude. Not friendly. Wont clean tables . Had to call them every time for ordering. Didnt come and ask if we needed anything. Asked to clean table and waitress said u are going to leave so we will clean only after. Food is good, but service is pathetic!
Very mixed experiences. First time that I went the service was amazing, and the food was delicious and piping hot. Second time, the service was absolutely horrific...and I dont even expect amazing service from an all you can eat sushi restaurant in the first place. But, the two waitresses working were something else. They didnt acknowledge us, were blatantly rude and had major attitudes. This place could be amazing but those servers need to be retrained, or disciplined. The awful service ruined the good food we had.
The service here is absolutely horrible and the servers are rude. We arrived an hour and a half before closing time and as we were even through the front door they told us that last call was now and we had 5 minutes to order everything. We were then yelled at for the table we chose and told we couldn't sit there. The servers never bothered to take our drink orders and just stood there staring at us while we ate our food because they wanted us to leave so they could go home. There were many things that we ordered that didn't come out and when we tried to tell our server this she was extremely rude and said somebody else must have ate it when it was never set down on the table in the first place. She then refused to have it made and claimed they were "out of rice". Will definitely not be going back
