I have this old beat mountain bike that really needed to get serviced. Before going camping, I rolled in with it and they had it all fixed up and riding beautifully 2 days later before I left. Superb and fast service.

First time customer, came by to bleed my brake on my SC Nomad, but ended up servicing my fork and other small things. Those guys know what they are doing!

I have found my shop! I'll stick with these guys for good. I was impressed the second I walked in the side door right into the shop. I was greeted by the owner Eric and a few of the other guys. Eric looked at the wheel I brought in and quickly diagnosed the issue and came up with a plan to get me sorted asap. They answer the phone, are straight up with you, and most of all made me feel like they understand my need to get back on the trails asap. Amazing first impression that will keep me coming back for all my needs. Thanks Eric and crew!

AVOID THIS ESTABLISHMENT AT ALL COSTS! I recently made the grave mistake of entrusting them with a simple e-bike tire task, requesting the removal of a freewheel. After receiving a quote of a meager $15-$20 over the phone, I was utterly dismayed when they demanded an astronomical $100! Can you imagine the audacity?! To add insult to injury, they had the nerve to suggest an additional day's wait upon questioning their ludicrous price hike. However, in a stroke of divine intervention, I managed to appear at their doorstep mere moments after ending the call, only to discover they had already reassembled the tire! The very definition of efficiency, wouldn't you say? As if the 400% price increase wasn't insulting enough, the owner had the gall to defend his actions with a confrontational attitude. When expressing my dissatisfaction with their lack of communication regarding delays, I was met with a disdainful response that left me flabbergasted. In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how imperative it is for you, dear reader, to save your hard-earned money and seek assistance elsewhere. Unless, of course, you enjoy the prospect of being fleeced by the most uncouth, deceitful business owner to ever cross my path. You've been warned!

These guys saved the day for me! I have been searching for part for a broken rear hub and was drawing a blank…nothing online, nothing in other LBS’s, nothing from the manufacturer. With an event coming in 2 weeks, I was considering buying a new wheelset. But EastSide had the part in stock and made the repair while I waited. And, we had a great conversation while I watched the repair work. The price for the repair was excellent. Overall, a great experience for me. EastSide is now my favourite LBS in KW!

Despite having lived in Kitchener for a few years now, we somehow never made it out to East Side Cycles before. Good thing we finally did! The shop is what I expect a bike shop to look like. Has a workshop, some dirty half built bikes, a ton of amazing stock (fully built bikes, all sorts of parts, shoes, helmets, accessories...) and a bunch of helpful friendly dudes roaming about. I came in to get a purple seat clamp to work with my accent setup. Everyone enjoys a pop of color. They didn't have a purple clamp for my seat post but ordered one for me. A week later I got a call that for whatever reason the part wasn't available... I know! Sad! However, Eric had used some kind of machine (he didn't use his nails to scrape) to edit a nice Chromag clamp to the size I needed (which isn't available usually...). So I ended up getting a custom made seat clamp that, wait for it, perfectly fits my purple scarab pedals. Thanks so much for supporting my purple ? dreams, team. We will definitely be back to East Side Cycles now that we've discovered it.

I will NEVER set foot in this store again!!!! They have to be the rudest people I have ever met. ZERO customer service skills. Make you feel like you aren’t welcome in the store. The one guy (ginger) bashes his competition, and is very arrogant. The short balding guy just has no people skills. I’ll take my biz elsewhere.

You failed to mention stripped bolts when you dropped the wheel off. Half way through the work you wanted we discovered this. Wheel was reassembled and given back to you with no charge . We also don't appreciate the verbal abuse . Calling anybody "goof's" won't get you very far. We aren't the shop for you and would appreciate if you didn't come back.
