Pretty good dog park. People and dogs are friendly for the most part. There are no rules on walking around like at Bechtel park so sometime the dogs might get a little territorial. They have poop bags and running water available.
Awesome splash pad! Lots of benches but no shade. The pavilion offers shade and communal picnic area but it's a little far from the splash pad. Bathroom is close by too.The playground is really fun and is close to the splash pad.Do NOT speed through there, the speed bumps will kiss the underside of your car!!
Decent skatepark, obstacles are minimal but fun. Bowl is currently closed but it fun as heck. There are dirt jumps and a downhill course that is taken care of and pretty legit. Down the road from these are the basketball courts and splash pad. Basically it's a park you can bring the whole family too.
I love bringing my kids here. There is a large playground with tons of equipment to play on and the splash pad is big as well. Bring some lawn chairs and some snacks because the kids won't want to leave. Washrooms are inside right beside where the kids play so that is pretty convenient as well.
What a great park. There is tons of things for everyone. Entering from the Ottawa Street side there is mount trashmore. Great for winter sliding and running up and down in the summer. Then there's a skate park, basketball court, beach volleyball courts, a splash pad and play structures. It's a great place to take the little ones. The play structures can get overrun with older kids at times so keep an eye on the little ones. There is one piece of equipment in the play area to keep your little ones away from. It has three parts that are hinged together that swing up and down like a snake. One of the little guys in our group got hurt pretty bad after it caught him in the face a knocked him down. Otherwise the place is top notch.
