We rarely leave reviews, but the service we received from Nikki Keough, Show Room Consultant for Watermarks Kitchen and Bath Boutique, deserves major recognition. We were overwhelmed with the task of purchasing a silgranit sink during our recent kitchen remodel. Nikki was knowledgeable about the product line was able to help us navigate the many options available and streamline the entire process, but what sets her apart is her commitment to the client, beyond the sale. She went above and beyond her responsibilities, personally calling the manufacturer and directly contacting us with prompt and reliable information assuring us that the sink fit was perfect, saving us from major installation headaches and potential delays. It was an absolute pleasure working with Nikki and we recommend her highly for any professional assistance you may require when selecting your kitchen or bathroom products. Elaine and Robert McVey
In my opinion, woeful customer service - buyer beware. After spending thousands of dollars for the renovation of 2 bathrooms (with the caveat that nothing could be returned if we were unhappy with the finishes/products), we were left out high and dry when a Watermarks-recommended product failed to deliver, "call the manufacturer". In my opinion, clearly this staff is unaware of the functionality of shower bases with respect to shower system flows, and they could use more professional training. Perhaps it would have prevented the constant flooding in our brand new basement bathroom. Our experience with Watermarks, Kitchener, lacked luster right from the get-go. We only gave them our business because our contractor and design team had accounts with them - not that that mattered! Many items were missed during delivery requiring our contractor to make a separate trip for pick up. In my opinion, very poor customer service in the store as well. Also my opinion that our service person, A.W., was less than patient with us and was having difficulty discussing our requests, forcing decisions. When I was asked for payment on the account prior to delivery, I promptly went to the showroom and after waiting 20 minutes was informed by a staff member that clients cannot pay their bills in person - say what now?! I should have known something felt off on my very first visit, when I walked into the showroom (you know, the one where no appointment is needed) and was stared down by 2 staff sitting at their desks (no other customers in the showroom) and looking quite upset that a customer had walked in and disturbed them. I proceeded to ask if the showroom was open, and if it was okay to walk around to look at their products. Their lack of response had me further explaining that I was sent by my design team to gather initial photos for inspiration and was questioned incessantly as to who that might be, why I was sent for that purpose, and 'never heard of them', including laughter amongst themselves which made me feel quite unwelcome. As a result, I took very few photos and left within minutes - neither staff member inquired about my projects or offered to show me some possible options. In short, for our second round of renovations (which will also total thousands of dollars in plumbing, faucets and sinks), we'll be working with an alternate Waterloo-based business.
Watermarks was a great resource during our kitchen and bathroom renovation. Ashley was knowledgeable and presented us with all options. There’s several showrooms in the GTA and Kitchener, so we were able to see the products before purchasing. We felt comfortable asking lots of questions and if she didn’t have the immediate answer, she promptly replied by email. This was in contrast to other area showrooms who had minimal products or didn’t seem to know their products well. No question was too menial and we felt comfortable discussing budget friendly options and our splurges. We love our Brito touch tap and can’t imagine living without it now! She also took great care of us when a warranty issue came up.
The staff at that place does not prioritize assisting walk-in customers or answering inquiries without a scheduled appointment. I recommend seeking alternative options to avoid unnecessary inconvenience.
Very pleased with the professionalism and experience with Kitchener Watermarks. Nikki was a pleasure to deal with. Will definitely recommend Watermarks to our friends and family. Thank you!
Went to pick out some items for our bathrooms and we met with Ashley. She was great in walking me through options, providing information and helping me choose great items that fit our budget. We are so pleased with how it turned out :)!
This place is fantastic! We worked with David and he walked us through all of the items we needed for our kitchen and bathroom renovation. You can certainly see the difference between the quality of the items in this store versus the big box stores and way better warranty as well. Don’t second guess purchasing from Watermarks you won’t be disappointed!
