My 1st experience with Mark and his crew was needing a/c service for my 2008 HHR. He took my car in right away for diagnostic. Repaired in a couple of days and provided a loaner car to boot. My 1976 Corvette required drive train service. Mark is extremely knowledgeable on Corvettes. The work was completed beyond my satisfaction. If you are in need of an exceptional auto service garage, here it is!
Be careful of all the positive reviews. I went to this shop because of them. Knowing the shop would probably reply I waited 2 and half years to write this review. I was quoted $2400 to repair my AC. Was told it needed a line and a condenser. I ask about the condenser and they said it looked rough and they would have to take it out to change the line anyways. Red flag 1 you don't change a $550 functioning part because you have to take it out anyways. The line the shop wanted to change ran parallel with another AC line next to each other. He ran the sniffer over the two lines and said that's where the leak is coming from. That line cost $460. I asked why not change both lines the other is only 60 bucks. He said I am confident it's this line. Red flag number two. I took it to another shop and had them put dye in the system and it was leaking from the lane he said but because of easily changeable seals at the h box off the firewall. If he would have done the job he quoted it would have fixed the issue but for $2100 more than necessary. I waited so long to write the review cause I wanted to insure the repair I got down was solid. After 2 and half summers still blowing ice cold. Andrew Henderson 2017 volkswagen golf sportwagen. Look it up in your system.
Reading many reviews about unauthorized increases to the final bill. I can attest that this is a DEFINITE possibility when taking your vehicle in. I am sure Mark is working towards improving communication between mechanic and customer.
Truck in for A/C Repair. Picked it up. One bolt missing holding Condensor. Imagine my surprise A/C didnt even work before going on my Trip . Went back After and charged another 50 to fix a pinched line. Wasnt impressed whatsoever.
Mark is the only mechanic I genuinely enjoy going to. He takes his time assessing problems that many other shops have missed or not bothered to mention, more times than not will show you exactly whats wrong and explain things to you, can usually see you quickly and the pricing is still comparable to other shops that I've been to.
Overcharged my father terribly. Charged him time for his son driving him to his home 5 min away...after he offered to it. Everything overpriced & not told price in advance. Then drive away with van and within 15 minutes the tire starts to smoke and have to go back to fix. Charges him overtime labor to retake the wheel off.
Marks got a great team on his side always gets the job done on time and for a good price. I always trust mark and his team for all my automotive repairs.
