Sobeys is my go to spot when I need something right away. No big crowds unless of course it's the weekend but even then you aren't felling congested in the aisles. Produce is always fresh and they do have some good deals occasionally. I find them a bit more expensive than other big stores like RCSS or Costco but those places aren't a in and out kinda grocery store. Staff are friendly and they do carry product that you won't find just anywhere.
They have wonderful people working in this store. If you show up at peak times they also have a plethora of samples for you try. On more then one occasion the sample that they showed me became a regular in my line up of food.
Clean store, great quality and they just try to do groceries well. Nice people at pharmacy. Groceries and flowers but NO pillows, clothes, toys, wiper blades, furniture etc here. How refreshing to NOT have to navigate a massive store for a couple groceries. Non sale prices are high though...
Selection of the produce is excellent and appears to be consistently fresh. In house coffee selection is great and so far there isn't one that I've tried that is disappointing. Organic section can improve with more choices. Overall store caries all the items that major stores have but one thing I've noticed that all stores lack is organic egg section. There are only two major manufacturers and it would be great to see more local selections.
Store is well stocked and maintained. Produce quality is good. Selection is decent. Staff are generally friendly and helpful.
