My daughter and I loved it , it's small , but the size match the entry price , for both they charged less than 11.00$The staff were really friendly and helpful, they took there time to answer all questions, they were knowledgeable. If you like to spend a 2 hours of learning and experience history in a fun way . This is the place . I tried their jam it was awesome , and the price was excellent.
We loved our visit here! Three children and an adult was well worth the $15! 'Joseph' our guide was very knowledgeable and kept the kids very engaged and set them to tasks they would have performed in 1850. My nice was still talking about it the next day.
My daughter loves visiting Schneider house! The staff are always really welcoming and allow her to freely explore while gently sharing their knowledge. She could spend hours here :)
A delightful place that well exceeded my expectations based on some of the older reviews and we certainly felt like we got our money's worth for a highly engaging almost 2-hour visit. The super knowledgeable and enthusiastic interpreters told us so many interesting things and were able to answer our numerous questions. Even though we've been to a few similar kinds of houses in the past we learned so much from the interpreters that you wouldn't have guessed just from looking at the stuff, and sure beat having to read a bunch of explanatory notes for each object. Schneider Haus became part of the government-run parks system I believe about a year ago, and added a bunch of artifacts and opened new areas recently, so if you haven't been in a long while, highly recommend a visit.
Highly recommend. The staff were very knowledgeable about Kitchener history and equally willing to share their knowledge. The historical house is also quite interesting.
