This small jewellery shop is excellent. If you have a fancy Swiss or heritage watch, they can refurbish it at 1/2 the cost of any of the chain stores. I've started to take some of my old pieces of jewellery and they have done a great job fixing old rings, brooches and necklaces. My dad had a wedding ring which I've now turned into a small pendant. Lovely workmanship. You can't go wrong here.
Several weeks ago, I went in with scant more than a few days of Google research and some pics of rings, to get a surprise (of course!) wedding set for my now-fiancee. I showed them the pic (custom leaves design) and it was like "no problem, just send us the pic(s)".Thuc had no trouble telling me everything he could about rings, metals, gems - he even gave me several options on how to spend less money on the ring. I felt like MT cares more about you getting the right jewelry than you spending more money.Also, the owner is basically the best goldsmith in the region - you can't go wrong with any work done by Minh (or his family), especially as MT is one of the only places you can go to get 19k white gold jewelry.
