Went in too look for boots , wasn’t greeted , when wandering around the employees continued on with personal weekend conversations , didn’t bother to help when I did approach them I was met with rude huffs , and eye rolls , a product I wanted wasn’t in the shelf when I asked if they had any I was told there in the back what do you want …. Um help , decent service ,honestly some fake kindness would have been appreciated, be happy you have a job thousands would love to do what your doing and they’d do it better , out of 4 people not one walked over to anyone .
I went to exchange your shirt and I didn't have the receipt so they would not let me exchange it and told me that I would get the lowest price. They ever offered the item on a gift card. All I wanted to do was exchange the shirt for one size bigger
Manager refused to take the time to come to the front and do a price match as the marks website says they offer. Even after being shown two Canadian competitors with a far better current pricing on the item. They were informed of the stated policy that "At Mark’s, we constantly strive to offer competitive prices in the market. Prior to purchase, if you find an item available for sale at a lower advertised price by our competitors; or within 30 days of your purchase, if you find your item advertised at a lower price by our competitors (or at our store) we will gladly match that price" and still refused out of what seems like a unwillingness to stand up and do their job. Unfortunately this isn't the first similar experience I have had at this location
Went to buy running shoes first thing at 9 A M. Store opened on time. Excellent salesperson handled my questions promptly. Great service which is the norm whenever I stop here.
I went to this store like every year to buy some safety boots, since there was no size I was looking for, I asked them if I could order them online, they said yes, they ordered them when I got to pay at the checkout, they waited for me to pay and then it was They gave me a gift card because if the order was canceled they would return the money to the gift card because I had paid with a debit card. My question was, how is it possible that if I pay with a debit card in case the order is canceled, they'll refund my money on a gift card? So in my case I only buy the safety boots, I lose my money because if they don't have the boots, what else am I going to buy if only the boots catch my attention? And I told the manager that how is it possible that they do not give the correct information before the clients pay because they hide the information under the business law, all businesses are obliged to give the correct information to their clients and in the store there was no no sign saying that? Ah, but if the manager was very upset because she didn't like the way she asked for the information, then why aren't they clear? Straight and correct with clients, it will not take even 1 minute explaining to the client. If I had known about the gift card, I would have paid with my credit card. I feel so sad they are obligated the customer to buy there if the orders got canceled? At least they can train the employees better so bad customer service worse becareful went bought it a debit card it was the first time this happened to me.
Mark’s warehouses on both Ottawa and Fairway Rd Kitchener are both great stores to shop. If one store doesn’t carry an item you are looking for, chances are the other one might have it. My personal experience from a customer perspective side has been nothing but good. They would often search the other stores for items I am looking for or offer to assist with online purchases if necessary. The stores carry good quality clothing particularly work/leisure wear. Great deals are to be had if you sign up for the newsletter and survey.
Excellent sales & customer service. Take a look around, I know you will find something. So many of my clothes are from marks . Stand behind there products.
