Not feeling like part of the family, your advertisement totally not true. My car has been in for work since Fiday, 5 days. Each day they say we will work on it tomorrow morning. Why not just be honest and say it will take weeks. We are a one car family and this untruth has created a major problems for us. If it was running we would go elsewhere, but rest assured we won't be trusting Heffner with our work in the future. Shame on you.
Not satisfied with Emily G service advisor because she won’t let me talk what service I’m looking, she keeps over talking. I don’t care if you don’t have a good day. Your customer service so it is your job to listen first then talk. Zero star for her. I stop talking to her because she wasn’t understanding me very well. The star I gave is for Brandon because he actually listens to me then talk. So good job.
In May 2024 I took my 2021 Sienna in to have the left taillight fixed. They changed the bulb and charged me $146 and let me leave without checking to see that replacing the bulb actually solved the problem. A few days later, I noticed that the taillight was still out. I took it back to Heffner and they charged me $336.74 to tell me they need to Replace rear bumper wiring harness and need to Replace LR taillgiht wiring harness which will cost $1500. I have the Toyota extended warranty and wiring harnesses should last the life of the vehicle but are apparently not covered. I have brought my vehicle in a couple of times since for routine service and ask what is the status of my wiring harness and why are they not working with the warranty specialist to get my defective wiring harness covered by the extended warranty and the service advisor just says, “we are working on it.” Well now it is October and I’m still driving around without a left taillight and still no news from Heffner on how they plan to fix it. I have heard it is better to take your Toyota vehicles for service in Guelph and avoid Heffner Kitchener so that’s what I’m going to do.
Being 'part of the family' is absolutely true! Taking the best care of my vehicle and helping me have complete understanding of needed repairs. Trust is a good word!
So grateful to Grace Brandt for her amazing assistance every time I bring my car in for service. She is wonderful at explaining the process and understanding what my options are in order to make an informed decision. This is why I continue to come back to the dealership for my vehicle services.
Called to ask about a part and asked about the TIS for the accessory. The person over the phone who is supposed to be the parts specialist had no idea what TIS means even after spelling it out for them (Technical Information System) document to install the accessory and I was advised to call back another day when someone else was working.
I am very disappointed as this was my first time service at this location. Jason cook the service advisor tries to fool the customer by giving advice and making big invoices of tiny faults. They just try different thing to fix your car problem and fix nothing just makes big bills. including assistant manager doesn’t know how to deal with customers. They just cheat customers and run their business with commissions.
